    Payment and reimbursement

At JUNO we choose to work "contract-free" (i.e. we do not sign any contracts with the Health Insurance companies). This means that you will first receive and pay the invoice for the treatment yourself. This can be done in cash, by pin or through a payment request immediately afollowing treatment.

You then submit the invoice to your health insurer yourself for reimbursement. The amount of reimbursement varies per health insurer and per policy. So always check your policy conditions first and/or mail your health insurer to find out where you stand in advance.

    Cancel appointment

If for any reason you have to cancel a scheduled appointment, please inform us by e-mail or telephone at least 24 hours before the scheduled treatment. If this is not done in time, we will be obliged to charge you for the costs of a missed appointment (see price list). These costs are not covered by your insurance. In case of illness or unexpected circumstances, the JUNO therapists may consult with you to deviate from this rule.

    Frequently asked questions regarding pricing

    Why does JUNO work contract-free?

At JUNO, we have made a conscious decision not to sign any contracts with the health insurers. Their demands are currently not feasibile.

Working contract-free allows us to focus our full attention and energy on what matters most: you and your recovery. At JUNO, we see each person as an individual and take a personal approach in which we strive to provide high-quality care that suits you as an individual. After all, as human beings, we are so beautifully complex that it simply cannot be captured in a standard protocol.

How did JUNO's rates come about?

JUNO's rates are based on the March 2020 Physiotherapy Cost Survey and are realistic for an independent working physiotherapist with a Master's degree. In addition, the rates are in line with practices in the region. The "market-based rates" from insurers have not been indexed for years and for most colleagues, do not cover costs.

Can I claim the cost from the health insurance company?

At JUNO we choose to work "contract-free" (i.e. we do not sign any contracts with the Health Insurance companies). This means that you will first receive and pay the invoice for the treatment yourself. This can be done in cash, by pin or through a payment request immediately afollowing treatment.

You then submit the invoice to your health insurer yourself for reimbursement. The amount of reimbursement varies per health insurer and per policy. So always check your policy conditions first and/or mail your health insurer to find out where you stand in advance.

    How does JUNO ensure quality?

More and more discerning, passionate physiotherapists providing very high quality care are choosing to work contract-free. JUNO is no exception. At JUNO, providing quality care is top priority. Nikki meets all the quality requirements of the BIG-register. She also meets all the rules and refresher training requirements of the Physiotherapy Quality Register (KRF-NL) and the Manual Therapy Register. For more information on Nikki's qualifications and training, see about us

Can I claim multiple treatments on 1 day?

Claiming more than 1 physiotherapy treatment on 1 day is not permitted. A session of one hour or possibly longer cannot be cut into several appointments.
