    Frequently asked questions on physiotherapy for pregnant women

    How long does physiotherapy treatment take?

    The duration of treatment depends on whether it is a new complaint or a follow-up appointment for an existing complaint. For the first appointment of a new complaint, 60 minutes are taken for a comprehensive screening, intake and examination. For follow-up appointments, half an hour is often sufficient.

    What does physiotherapy treatment cost?

    The initial consultation lasts 60 minutes and consists of two parts;

    1. screening, intake and examination physiotherapy at € 51
    2. physiotherapy treatment at € 40 or manual therapy at € 51

    For follow-up appointments, the rate for physiotherapy is €40 per 30 minutes, or manual therapy á €51. This will depend on the actions required.

    Can I claim the cost from the health insurance company?

    JUNO works contract-free. This means that you first receive and pay the invoice yourself. This can be done in cash, by pin or through a payment request immediately after the treatment.

    You then submit the bill to your health insurer yourself for reimbursement. The amount of reimbursement varies per health insurer and per policy. So always check your policy conditions first and/or mail your health insurer to find out where you stand in advance.
